Audit and Accounts Business Development Executive
Kickstart your B2B sales in audit & accounts across the UK - build CFO relationships, qualify leads, and book consultations for our partners.
Role purpose
This role sits at the front of the firm’s new business engine, focused on identifying, qualifying and sourcing high quality audit and accounts opportunities for local UK offices and partners.
As a B2B Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with UK-based companies that requires auditing and accounting services. You’ll act as the first point of contact, qualifying leads, managing outreach campaigns, and booking consultations for our partners.
This role is ideal for a confident communicator with a background in B2B sales, financial services, or professional advisory, and who enjoys working in a target-driven, consultative environment.
Key responsibilities
Proactively identify and generate audit and accounts opportunities through structured outbound calling and follow up.
Manage inbound inquiries, follow up on marketing leads, and schedule discovery calls for the relevant audit and accounts team.
Build relationships with CFOs, finance directors, and business owners through consultative conversations.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot or similar) and manage a steady pipeline of prospects.
Collaborate with the UK audit and accounts teams to align lead generation with service delivery capacity.
Meet and exceed monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified meetings, and conversions.
Stay informed on industry trends as well as audit and accounting standard changes.
Own HubSpot as the firm’s front end CRM for audit and accounts BD.
Track meetings booked, show rates and downstream outcomes to assess lead quality.
Provide basic pipeline visibility to Partners and regional leadership.
Work closely with local offices and Partners to:
Understand capacity and target client profiles.
Align outreach with office level priorities.
Improve quality of meetings over time through feedback.
Ensure all meetings are handed over with sufficient background to allow Partners to run an effective first meeting.
Act as a central coordination point, reducing random or misdirected enquiries landing on Partners.
Key requirements
Essential
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales.
Strong communication and rapport-building skills with a confident, professional phone and email manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience speaking confidently with CFOs, Finance Directors and business owners.
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot).
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
Reliable home working setup.
Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Prior exposure to accounting and audit services.
Experience qualifying inbound leads and managing shared pipelines.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
