Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike, preparing year end accounts for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.

• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.

• Produce draft tax computations for clients.

• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.

• Prepare schedules for tax returns.

• Complete VAT returns.

Key Skills and competencies

• Good computer skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative when required.

• Good organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Proven analytical skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• AAT Qualified, with optional progression to ACA or ACCA.

• Previous experience gained within General Practice.

• Knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage.
