Role Overview
To work closely with the tax director and client managers to provide tax advice and tax strategies to clients while providing guidance and mentorship to tax team members. Take ownership of key client relationships, drive the delivery of complex tax projects, and help to shape the future of our tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
Working with the tax director and client managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services.
Leading and managing complex tax projects for clients.
To have excellent client relationship skills, to be able to build strong relationships and handle client queries in a positive and client focused manner.
Mentoring team members, providing technical guidance, support, and performance feedback.
For more complex tax cases; preparing, reviewing and approving tax computations and returns prepared by the team.
Staying ahead of changes in tax legislation and sharing insights with clients and the team to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
Contributing to the strategic direction of the tax department, including business development.
Initiatives and process improvements.
Representing the firm at client meetings, industry events, and in business development activities.

Being fully aware of and actively complying with Streets policies and procedures relevant to your own responsibilities and to company policies and procedures including equality, professional conduct, health and safety and data protection.

Personal qualities we are looking for:
Qualified to CTA or equivalent
Willing to undertake new (challenging) tasks which may include complex areas of tax
Attention to detail and methodical working manner
Ability to prioritise work and communicate with the tax director regarding workflow
At least 7 years’ experience within tax compliance and advisory
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, external and internal
Excellent client communication skills
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
