Reception and Practice Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for a Reception and Practice Assistant to join our Ludlow team. In this role you will provide support for our accounting practice and be part of our front-of-house team. The role will encompass reception, office duties and accounts compliance work, including company secretarial processing. Training will be given where necessary on all aspects of the role, to help you grow as the practice develops and moves forward into the future. No prior compliance experience is needed—just a professional attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
· The Face of the Firm: Being part of our front-of-house, greeting clients, and handling queries with a professional and friendly manner.
· Maintain Client Records and Data: Helping maintain all client databases, ensuring all information is captured accurately and securely for the practice.
· Practice Admin assistant: Supporting our practice manager to finalise jobs to go out to clients, aiding with company secretarial duties, bookkeeping where necessary.
What We Are Looking For
· Strong Communicators: You’ll be talking to everyone from sole traders to Directors; a professional phone manner is essential.
· Numerical Confidence: You don’t need to be a mathlete, but you should be comfortable working with numbers and have an attention to detail.
· Eagerness to Learn: We are looking for someone who wants to build and develop along with the varied role, in an ever changing fast paced environment.
· Reliability: You are the first person our clients see; punctuality and a polished appearance are key.
