We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded professional to lead and inspire our Business Support team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll oversee critical functions including HR, Finance, Marketing, Compliance, Front of House, Administration, and IT, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Strategic Leadership: Manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team, embedding a culture of excellence and innovation.
· HR Partnership: Work closely with Directors and external HR consultants to deliver strategic HR initiatives, support line managers, and champion our values.
· Finance Oversight: Supervise finance operations, monitor KPIs, and provide insightful reporting to the Senior Management Team.
· Marketing Direction: Collaborate with marketing consultants and guide the Marketing & Admin Assistant to deliver impactful campaigns.
· Client Experience: Ensure new client enquiries are handled promptly and professionally, supporting growth and client satisfaction.
· Facilities & Compliance: Maintain a premium front-of-house experience, manage building maintenance, health & safety, and regulatory compliance.
· IT Coordination: Oversee technology needs, liaise with external providers, and drive improvements to streamline processes.
· People Development: Conduct performance reviews, create growth plans, and foster continuous learning within the team.
· Special Projects: Lead strategic initiatives and projects as directed by the Board.
What We’re Looking For
· Proven experience managing central support or business services teams.
· HR knowledge (including basic employment law) and office administration expertise.
· Commercial acumen with a continuous improvement mindset.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
· Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
· Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and make sound decisions.
Desirable:
HR qualifications and/or experience in accountancy or professional services.
