Reporting to the IT Director you will be the key technical resource in the IT department for our acquisitions. Liaising with the M&A team, end users and third-party IT support/vendors to ensure a smooth onboarding process. This position covers various stages of the M&A process from initial core integration and being a hyper-care contact - to a longer, phased migration of software, systems and bringing into our environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and integrating acquisition projects
- Technical point of contact during for acquisitions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
- Documentation and handover to relevant internal team members
- Site visits for hardware rollouts/potential training/server decommission
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
- IT support/technician background that led to implementation or prior technical implementation experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and self-motivation
Desirable Attributes
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2)
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project, Jira).
- Prior project delivery experience
- Experience with data handling/analysis/mapping
Additional Requirements:
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary, including travelling to different office locations.
